Nikie Belliveau, a Pittsburgh native, was introduced to yoga in 2007 while playing high school lacrosse. She continued her practice when she moved to New York City in 2009 to study at NYU. In 2014, she completed a 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training with Yoga to the People. During her time in New York she was introduced to the Bikram Method which she found to be a fundamental part of the yoga practice. After moving back to Pittsburgh, she found Yoga Factory and loved that both styles were offered. In 2017, she completed a 500-hour training with Yoga Factory in the Primary 26+2 series.
Nikie loves practicing and sharing the yoga as often as possible. This yoga is for everyone, all bodies, all minds; an active mediation that allows one to find the strength to go within and create space for something to happen.
